Olive oil is becoming an increasingly popular ingredient in the Personal Care sector. In Europe, MENA and Asia-Pacific regions, the number of skincare product launches including olive oil has increased year-on-year since 2013.
Bodyflux® Olive, from Evonik, is a ceramide complex, based on enzymatically processed organic olive oil. It has proven efficacy for enhancing skin moisturisation in the stratum corneum and epidermis, as well as reducing the signs of both intrinsic and extrinsic ageing.
