About Hyaluronic Acid
According to Elle (2020) hyaluronic acid helps to support smooth and hydrated skin. As part of the extracellular matrix, our skin naturally produces hyaluronic acid in a bid to maintain moisture levels. As we age, and extrinsic factors come into play, the levels of hyaluronic acid production decrease.
