Product Range

Multipurpose Active Ingredients – dermosoft® decalact

• dermosoft^® decalact MB (INCI: Sodium Caproyl/Lauroyl Lactylate) – a natural, multifunctional active ingredient with antimicrobial properties. It is highly effective against microorganisms causing skin disorders like dandruff and athlete’s foot. Therefore, this material can be applied as a natural and mild replacement for triclosan and climbazole.

• dermosoft^® decalact liquid MB (INCI: Sodium Caproyl/Lauroyl Lactylate; Triethyl Citrate) –  this low viscous blend contains our effective multifunctional ingredient dermosoft^® decalact MB and triethyl citrate, which supports the antimicrobial efficacy and makes this ingredient particularly easy to handle. This active blend is ideal for cold temperature processes and is suitable for both  anti acne products and female hygiene formulations.

• dermosoft^® decalact deo MB (INCI: Sodium Caproyl/Lauroyl Lactylate; Triethyl Citrate; Salvia Officinalis (Sage) Oil) – a  natural deodorant active blend with antimicrobial properties. It is liquid, easy to handle and the synergistic composition is highly effective against microorganisms causing body odour. Results from an in-vivo study prove the 24h-deodorant activity as comparable or superior to benchmark products.

• dermosoft^® decalact sebum MB (INCI: Polyglyceryl-10 Laurate; Sodium Caproyl/Lauroyl Lactylate; Glycerin, Serenoa Serrulata Fruit Extract; Juniperus Communis Fruit Extract) – multitalented natural active ingredient blend fighting the signs of blemish prone skin. In-vivo proven efficacy for reduction of sebum production, redness and pimples at a low dosage. Suitable for certified natural cosmetics.

Preservative Blends – Verstatil®

• Verstatil® BL non GMO (INCI: Aqua; Sodium Levulinate; Sodium Benzoate): A synergistic blend of sodium benzoate with the skin conditioning agent levulinic acid, derived from non-GMO sources. This raw material has an excellent antimicrobial activity and can be applied in natural cosmetics. Verstatil® BL non GMO is perfectly suitable for surfactant based products and tonics and can be applied in natural cosmetics. The combination with antimicrobial surface active substances (e.g. dermosoft® GMCY MB) is recommended to improve the performance against fungi in emulsions.

• Verstatil® SL non GMO (INCI: Aqua; Sodium Levulinate; Potassium Sorbate): A synergistic blend of potassium sorbate and the skin conditioning agent levulinic acid, derived from non-GMO sources. This raw material has an excellent antimicrobial activity especially in surfactant based and aqueous products and can be applied in natural cosmetics. This easy to handle blend is optimized for good skin compatibility. The combination with antimicrobial surface active substances (e.g. dermosoft® GMCY MB) is recommended to improve the performance against fungi in emulsions.

• Verstatil® PC (INCI: Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol): Synergistic blend of phenoxyethanol and ethylhexylglycerin with a broad-spectrum antimicrobial efficacy. pH independent and especially suitable for o/w-emulsions, w/o-emulsions and gels and tonics.

• Verstatil® PE (INCI: Phenoxyethanol; Ethylhexylglycerin): Synergistic blend of phenoxyethanol and ethylhexylglycerin with a broad-spectrum antimicrobial efficacy. pH independent.

Natural Antioxidants and Chelating Agents – dermofeel®

• Dermofeel^® Toco 70 non GMO: Non GMO, soy based antioxidant for effective product protection based with a mixed tocpherol content of at least 70%

• Dermofeel^® TocoSkin: Non GMO, sunflower based antioxidant effective for skin protection with a high cotent of D-alpha Tocopherol. Prevents skin from damage caused by free radicals and offer anti-inflammatory effect.

• Dermofeel^® TocoBalance:  Non GMO, rapeseed based multifunctional antioxidant for product and skin protection at one. With a high  balanced content of mixed tocoherols , this ingredient offers effective protection of oxidizable ingredients with the added benefit of antioxidative activity for the skin.

Multifunctional Antimicrobials – dermosoft®

• dermosoft® 1388 eco – A convenient blend of plant derived organic acids with extensive antimicrobial properties. The performance of dermosoft® 1388 eco is pH dependent. The balanced combination of ingredients offers an effective multifunctionality for a wide range of Personal Care and Cosmetics products. This speciality ingredient offers skin conditioning, masking, pH regulating and antimicrobial activity within formulations. In emulsions, a combination with an antimicrobial surface active substance (for example: dermosoft^® GMCY MB) is recommended to improve the overall performance of the product.

• dermosoft^® GMCY MB – A vegetable based wetting agent with strong activity against bacteria and yeast. dermosoft^® GMCY MB is an excellent booster for organic acids and different listed preservatives. Due to it’s amphiphilic structure, it lowers the surface tension. This can lead to smaller droplets and more stable emulsions. At higher concentrations it may reduce the viscosity of emulsions.

• dermosoft^® 250 eco – Our problem solver for natural cosmetics with higher pH levels . Easy to apply and pH independent fragrance ingredient. Great booster for natural systems with stability issues. Especially good for water based systems at higher pH. Synergistic effect with wetting agents (e.g. dermosoft® GMCY MB or dermosoft Pentiol eco).
